Odyssey Course

Odyssey High Ropes Course:

The Odyssey High Ropes Course is a unique challenge course located at Cottage Lake Park in Woodinville, Washington, in partnership with King County Parks and Recreation.  The Odyssey Course is a 40ft tall, two-level course that includes 10 different challenges and obstacles that you must navigate and work together with your group to accomplish.  It is unlike anything you will find in the Puget Sound area!  The course can be done individually, but it is best designed to facilitate small “pods” of 6-10.  We can have as much as 30 people up on the course at one time.  It is accessed by a large cargo net, and finishes with a dual hydraulic zip line to the ground.  The course was built in 2007 by Alpine Towers International, a certified and professional vendor of challenge course technology.

Odyssey Course (High Course):

Our team-based high ropes course is the highlight and primary focus of this program, and it is by far our most popular!  It begins with a few icebreaker activities, and then moves quickly into some ground based initiatives before we put on our gear and get up in the air.  If you’re looking for a fun, intensive challenge for your team or group, this is an excellent choice for you!  We can incorporate many of the activities from the Team Challenge Low Course into this program, and can do a combination day of low and high activities.

Group Size: 6-50*

Time Frame: 3-6 hours

Starting Price: $25-40/person – depending on group and length of program

Age Requirement: 10 years old and up

Weight Limit: 300 lbs.

*With design modifications, we are able to accomodate larger groups

The Odyssey Challenge Course is located by the pool and pavilion at Cottage Lake Park in Woodinville at:

18831 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd
Woodinville, WA 98077

It is operated by the staff of Northshore YMCA in Bothell.

“The course challenged us to overcome our fears, work as a team, and enjoy ourselves.  This is an experience what we will not forget!” – Friends of Youth, Aug 26, 2014

“The kids really enjoyed their time and began to build some good rapport with each other.  It was a great start to our program year for our youth.  Many of them asked if we could do it again next weekend.  The staff was excellent and did a great job gently encouraging those who were a little more timid about the experience, as well as challenging those who were more confident.  They were adaptable and clearly knew what they were doing.” – Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Sept 7, 2014
